Join us for our first National Task Jam—the opportunity to work with colleagues locally and nationally to design high quality, engaging, writing assignments.

WHY
Because we know that the quality of writing tasks impacts students’ capacity to achieve, because we know that creating high quality writing tasks is complex, intellectually challenging work, and because we know engaging in important, high quality work is better and more fun when we do it with others!

To register, please fill out this short Google Docs Form by Monday, January 12th to reserve your spot. The first 25 teachers to register will be paid a $30 stipend in addition to 4.5 PGPs and a free lunch. After your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email.

*Please note: All attendees are asked to bring a copy of a text-based assignment and an electronic device (tablet/laptop) to use during this workshop. Attendees are also asked to make sure they have an active Gmail address for use in Google+. To create a Gmail account, click here.
