IPFW’s Appleseed Writing Project, an affiliate of the National Writing Project, is pleased to announce its 13th Annual Invitational Writing Institute to be held on the IPFW campus.
Appleseed is an intensive writing workshop offering a professional development opportunity for teachers in all disciplines and grade levels (K-16) to develop their skill as writers and as teachers who use writing effectively in their classrooms.
The Writing Institute begins on Saturday, April 30, from 9:00 to 4:00. The summer schedule begins on Monday, June 13 and ends on Friday, June 24.
Appleseed also has 3 additional Saturdays scheduled in the fall (all from 9 to 4:00):
- April 30
- September 10
- October 8
- November 12
- Along with 6 hours online

In addition to reviewing your application, we will contact you for a brief personal interview that will allow you to ask questions about the institute and meet AWP leaders. Group interviews will take place at IPFW in the spring and participants should be selected by mid-April.
