Both Appleseed Youth Writing Camps are held on the IPFW Campus and will include the following:

 Writing in a variety of genres (poetry, story writing, narratives)
 Engaging activities and collaboration (choosing a topic, sustained writing time, revising, editing, publishing and sharing)
 Understanding the writing process (in a variety of writing contexts)
 Learning in a supportive environment under the tutelage of experienced writing teachers (but without the concern of earning a grade)

Transportation to and from campus must be provided by parents or caregivers. Students who utilize public transportation will be walked to their bus after each afternoon session by adult camp leaders.

Complete the registration forms located above and send the completed form and payment to Cheri Pruitt (directions on registration forms).

A teacher’s recommendation and signature are required on the middle school camp registration forms. No previous creative writing experience is necessary for these camps—only a desire to write and a willingness to participate in the daily activities.

Deadline to register is June 10th.
